PENINGKATAN KAPASITAS UMKM USAHA PENGOLAHAN IKAN ASIN DI KELURAHAN MAMBORO BARAT KECAMATAN PALU UTARA KOTA PALU

Abstract

This work aims to increase the capacity of UMKM’s in the salted fish processing business in West Mamboro, Palu City through Marketing and  Bookkeeping training. To increase capacity in the field of marketing, training participants have been given material on how to determine effective marketing strategies used to increase sales turnover by utilizing the marketing mix which consists of: (1) product development according to consumer tneeds, (2) determining the selling price of the product (price) that is competitive in accordance with the purchasing power of the community, (3) choosing distribution channels (plice) so that the product is guaranteed availability, (4) choosing the right promotion mix (promotional mix) in delivering information about salted fish products to consumers

To increase capacity in the field of bookkeeping, training participants have been given an understanding of simple bookkeeping that can be applied in managing their business finances, with the following materials: (1) Accounting, providing an understanding of the basic accounting equation which is a balance between the assets and liabilities side, (2) Calculating and recorded in simple bookkeeping, with the aim that business actors can find out the financial condition of the business they are running.

From the material that has been explained about marketing and simple bookkeeping, participants have been trained to put the marketing strategies that have been set and simple bookkeeping into a working paper that has been prepared by the service team.
