Pengelolaan Lahan Agroforestry Di Kawasan Penyangga Taman Nasional Lore Lindu

Abstract


Bakubakulu Village is a village in the buffer zone of Lore Lindu National Park which has the potential to be developed in the field of agroforestry and utilization of non-timber forest products. Bakubakulu Village has a high potential for cocoa-based agroforestry land and non-forest products such as candlenut, sugar palm, and honey bees. However, at this time the production of cocoa is starting to decline due to the growth of cocoa plants that are not good, the seeds produced are small, plants and cocoa pods are susceptible to pests and diseases. In addition, the management of palm sap is still limited to palm sugar whose economic value is still very low. To avoid this problem, it is necessary to take it seriously through good cacao seedling activities as well as innovation training in diversifying palm sap products into palem sugar which has a fairly high economic value. Cocoa seeding activities are carried out in forestry plant nurseries which were made during the implementation of activities in the village of Bakubakulu, Palolo District, Sigi Regency. In the implementation of this activity, the methods used are the cocoa seedling method and the method of pruning cocoa plants, making liquid and solid organic fertilizers, fermenting cocoa beans, and making palm sap into palm sugar. The results were achieved from the service program activities. Dissemination of the results of this research is the availability of quality cocoa plant seeds in the nursery. The availability of cocoa plants that can produce well as a result of pruning activities. The availability of liquid and solid organic fertilizers, as well as the availability of palm sugar as a result of product diversification innovations from palm sap that are ready to be marketed. From this series of activities, it can be concluded that the service activities are going well and can make a big contribution both to the institution and to the community.
