MOTIVATING STUDENTS OF VOCATIONAL SENIOR SCHOOL MUHAMMADIYAH 1 PALU FOR LEARNING AND DEVELOPING EFL SKILLS

Abstract


This society service aimed at motivating students of Vocational Senior School Muhammadiyah 1 Palu to learn and develop their English language skills. Its specific target was to enable the students to communicate in EFL (English as a Foreign Language). The service was carried out by using Descriptive Method whereas the objective was reached by applying Communicative Method. They would easily interact with international people, comprehend international cultures, and read references in the foreign language if they have its skills. The students were not able to express English sentences even words but after being motivated they have spirits to learn and develop the global language so that they can express its vocabulary and sentences even though limited words and simple sentences. They in this matter can be acknowledged as international/global students.
