Pemanfaatan Sampah Anorganik Sebagai Media Pembelajaran IPA Fisika Pada Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sigi

Abstract


This paper was based on the results of a community service program in the SMA Negeri 1 Sigi area. This service is about how to manage and handle the inorganic waste in the school environment, so it could have effective value. One of the values was to convert it into learning media that can help teachers in providing more efficient learning. This research is quantitative descriptive. The method used in this research was a survey with questionnaire distribution as the data collection techniques. In this study, the assessment items consisted of student learning motivation and the effectiveness of physics science learning, operation and quality of learning media and environment-based learning media. This activity was attended by 20 people, 15 students and 4 physics science teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Sigi. The results of the students’ responses to the Physics learning using learning media from inorganic waste indicated that 87.8% of students strongly agree that the used of it can increase their learning motivation. Meanwhile, 79.7% of students were in “agree” category to the operation and quality for the effectiveness of he media to the learning. Lastly, there was 97.3% of students in “strongly agree” category for the involvement of using environment-based learning media in Physics learning activities.
