APLIKASI PENENTUAN JUARA LOMBA PANJAT TEBING MENGGUNAKAN METODE AHP DAN TOPSIS

Abstract

The application that was built in this research is an application that helps the committee in organizing a rock climbing competition, in this case the rock climbing branch of the boulder branch. The organization of the boulder branch rock climbing competition which has been carried out locally by the Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation (hereinafter referred to as FPTI) Central Sulawesi is still using a standard application by making an assessment calculation formula using the Microsoft Excel application where sometimes the organizer in this case is the competition committee. copy and paste the excel template sourced from the national jury. The committee sometimes makes mistakes when they copy and paste the excel template which sometimes the formula that has been made is accidentally deleted or when filling in the template the wrong value or other input will affect the assessment process that has been made. Human errors like this can be overcome by providing convenience to the application display that is easy to use to manage the competition assessment process starting from the participant registration process to the athlete's score calculation process so that valid and accountable athlete assessment results are obtained. Therefore, this application was built by utilizing data processing technology, namely a database and equipped with an automatic calculation method using the Analythical Hierarchy Process (hereinafter AHP) and Technique For Others Reference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (hereinafter referred to as TOPSIS). Application development using the RAD software development method.
