TRAINING RESILIENT WOMEN DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN TAWAELI

Abstract

            Coronavirus diseases-19 (Covid-19) is a highly contagious disease. This disease was first discovered in 2019 and until now has caused a pandemic situation throughout the country. The government regulates large-scale social restrictions based on this condition. The role of women in efforts to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases, especially in the family sphere, is critical. The purpose of implementing this service program is to provide counseling related to the Covid-19 disease, provide training related to the active role of women as housewives in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, and assess the stress and anxiety levels of women in the Tawaeli Health Center work area. The majority of mothers experienced anxiety symptoms in the severe and very severe categories, stress symptoms in the moderate and severe categories, and did not experience symptoms of depression. The provision of this training has a good impact on mothers because they can gain more insight into the Covid-19 disease and obtain several alternative solutions to overcome the anxiety and stress they experience in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
