PENGARUH KECEPATAN SPINDEL DAN MEDIA PENDINGIN PADA PROSES PENGGURDIAN ALUMINIUM AA6061 TERHADAP BURR FORMATION
Abstract
The results of data analysis in this study indicate that at 443 rpm spindle rotation with air cooling media the smallest average value of burr formation is 4.34 mm and the largest value occurs at 970 spindle rotation with oil cooling media with an average value of burr formation as much as 10.98 mm. This is caused by the cooling medium which has different viscosity values so that it can affect the size of the burr formation value and the low spindle rotation also affects the
small value of the resulting burr formation. The formation of burr formation is better by using a low spindle rotation and using a cooling medium that has a low viscosity value.
