PELAYANAN PUSTAKAWAN PADA BADAN PERPUSTAKAAN, ARSIP DAN DOKUMENTASI DAERAH PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGAH

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the librarian services contained in the Library, Archives and Documentation Central Sulawesi Province. Literature review in this study, namely, Reference Services, Attention To The Public, and Solutions. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The location of research at the National Library and Documentation Archive of Central Sulawesi Province. Selection of informants using two methods, namely purposive or sampling technique with a certain consideration, as well as accidential which is a technique that is based on chance or encountered anyone who by chance met with investigators. Selection of informants by purposive priority of service providers in this regard Librarian at the Library, Archives and Documentation Central Sulawesi Province, while public service users, in this case by way of accidential pemustaka. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. In this study, researchers used the analytical techniques interpretation. Engineering analysis approach is to bring up what it means or meaning of the problems, cases, circumstance, or situation under study. Based on the results of the study showed that the public service at the Library, Archives and Documentation Central Sulawesi Province of the indicator a) Reference Service, not run as expected, while the indicator b). Against the public's attention  c). Solutions can be categorized either. The limiting factor in the public service of Library, Archives and Documentation Central Sulawesi Province a) Human Resources, b) Discipline, and c) Leader
