KESIAPAN KELOMPOK HUTAN KEMASYARAKATAN DALAM MENGELOLA SUMBERDAYA HUTAN DI DESA TARIPA KECAMATAN SINDUE KABUPATEN DONGGALA

Abstract

One of the plantation forest development activities oriented to community empowerment in Central Sulawesi is the Community Forest in Taripa Village, Sindue Subdistrict, Donggala District. The management of community forest resources by the Sinar Baru farmer group is still relatively young, for that it is necessary to have mature readiness in managing community forest resources. This research aims to find out the readiness of community forest groups in managing forest resources in Taripa Village. This research was carried out for three months starting from June to September 2021. The population in this research was all members of the Sinar Baru farmer group totaling 121 people. The research sample amounted to 33 respondents using the non-probability sampling technique. Data on the readiness of community forest groups in managing forest resources were obtained using questionnaires and interviews. The results of the research show that overall from the aspect of clarity of territory and community forest management rights, the community knows the clarity of rights in community forest management and also knows the location of the community forest working area. The organization of community forest groups and the rules for utilization and participatory planning in community forest management in Taripa village do not yet have written documents. So in general it can be concluded that community forest groups in managing forest resources in Taripa Village, Sindue Subdistrict, Donggala District are not ready.
