INISIATIF MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PEMANFAATAN HUTAN DESA NUPABOMBA KECAMATAN TANANTOVEA KABUPATEN DONGGALA

Abstract

The village forest is a state forest that has not been saddled with permit/rights, managed by the village and used for the welfare of the village. Through village forest schemes, groups or village forest management institutions (LPHD) have the responsibility of preserving the forest area under their care. Initiative is the ability to recognize problems as well as opportunities and can take action to solve problems, it makes it easier for individuals to grow in thinking. The purpose of this study was to learn society understand of the forest use of Nupabomba Village. The study carried out for 2 months from February 2021 to April 2021 in Nupabtanantovea District of Donggala Regency Central Sulawesi Province. Types and data sources are primary and secondary data. Of the 25% of the respondents (family heads), of the (136 KK) in the Nupabomba region, the total number of those questioned is as much (34 KK). An analysis of research data is qualitative to a scale of 1-3-5 (likert scale modification). Research shows that the understanding of Nupabomba population in the region falls under the current category as derived from the overall rate of treatment of 1-3-5 (the likert scale) of 100, moderate (35-102). As the society of Nupabomba Village still lack understanding of the purpose and usefulness of village forests and still lack socialization on the related parties.
