INVENTARISASI JENIS-JENIS ROTAN DI DESA BALUKANG KECAMATAN SOJOL KABUPATEN DONGGALA

Abstract


Rattan is a thorny climbing palm that grows in clumps or singly which is classified into the family Arecaceae / Palmae. Ecologically, rattan thrives in various places, both lowlands and highlands, especially in valley areas such as riverbanks. Almost all parts of rattan can be used both as chair construction, binding, and design components. This research was conducted in Balukan Village, Sojol District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. This research was conducted for 2 months, from June 2020 to August 2020. Based on the results of research conducted in the forest area of Baluang Village, there are 7 species. Noko rattan (Calamus koordersianus Becc), Lambang rattan (Calamus Ornatus), Branch rattan (Korthalsia lariniosa Griffith ex Martius), Tohiti rattan (Calamus inops), Trunk rattan (Calamus zollingeri Becc), Bubuai rattan (Plectocomia elonganta Martius ex Blume), Ronti rattan (Calamus leptostachys Becc).
