Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Terhadap Kemampuan Literasi Sains Siswa

Abstract


This study aimed to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning models on students' scientific literacy abilities. This research used a non-equivalent control class design. In this design, there are pretest and posttest for the experimental class and the control class. The sampling technique in this study was conducted using cluster random sampling, because these groups have the same abilities. The samples were students of class XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 4, with 21 and 22 students respectively. Class XI MIA 1 students as the experimental class were treated with the guided inquiry learning model, while the XI MIA 4 class as the control class used the conventional learning model, namely the discovery learning model. The pretest mean score in the experimental class was 5.95 and the control class was 5.55. The average posttest score in the experimental class was 15.09 and 11.14 in the control class. The results of testing the hypothesis that the value of t = 5.08 ≥ t table = 2.02 so that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is an effect of the guided inquiry learning model on the scientific literacy abilities of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Poso, especially static fluid material.
