Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Dampelas Pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi Dengan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigtion (GI)

Permasalahan utama dan mendasar pada penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya perolehan nilai hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Dampelas pada mata pelajaran Biologi.Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 pada mata pelajaran Biologi dengan menerapkan pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI). Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus.Subjek penelitian adalah siswa berjumlah 23 orang.Sumber data penelitian yaitu data kualitatif adalah observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru, serta data kuantitatif adalah tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian siklus 1 diperoleh ketuntasan individu sebanyak 12 siswa dari 23 siswa, dengan persentase daya serap klasikal sebesar 67,74 % dan ketuntasan klasikal 52,17 %. Hasil penelitian siklus 2 diperoleh ketuntasan individu sebanyak 19 siswa dari 23 siswa, dengan persentase daya serap klasikal sebesar 80,22 % dan ketuntasan klasikal 82,60 %. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Dampelas pada mata pelajaran Biologi

ABSTRAK

The basic problems in this research is still lower the learning outcomes of students in class VIII at SMPN 6 Dampelas in Biology subject. The aims of this research to improve learning outcomes of  student on Biology subject  through the implementation of Cooperative learning  models  Group Investigation ( GI) Type in the class  VIII at SMPN 6. This Research was a classroom action research performed in two cycles. Subject in this Research is amount 23 students. The Data qualitative in this research were obtained from the observation of the activities of student and teacher, and quantitative data taken from the test.  The results showed that on cycle 1 learning individual complete as much 12 student from 23 student, with the absorption classical was 67,74 %, and learning classical mastery was 52,17 %. The results showed that on cycle 2 learning individual complete as much 19 student from 23 student, with the absorption classical was 80,22 %, and learning classical mastery was 82,60 %. Base on the obtained data it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model Group Investigation type (GI) improved learning outcomes of student in the class VIII at SMPN 6 Dampelas in Biology subject.
