STRUKTUR DAN KOMPOSISI KOMUNITAS MANGROVE DI DESA TADA SELATAN KECAMATAN TINOMBO SELATAN KABUPATEN PARIGI MOUTONGDAN PEMANFAATANNYA SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR BIOLOGI

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Tada Selatan Kecamatan Tinombo Selatan Kabupaten Parigi Moutong pada bulan Oktober 2015 sampai dengan selesai. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui struktur dan komposisi jenis komunitasmangrove yang ada di Desa Tada Selatan Kecamatan Tinombo Selatan Kabupaten Parigi Moutong dan pemanfaatannya sebagai sumber belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah metodesurveidengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode kuadrat. Area penelitian dibagi menjadi 10 jalur (transek). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, struktur pada semai, pancang dan pohon didominasi oleh jenis Rhizophora mucronata. Komposisi jenis mangrove pada tingkat pancang dan pohon ditemukan 6 jenis mangrove yaitu Avicennia alba, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata, Sonneratia alba dan Xylocarpus granatum, sedangkan pada tingkat semai hanya ditemukan 5 jenis mangrove tidak termasuk jenis Xylocarpus granatum. Hasil validasi sumber belajar berupa penuntun praktikum  dinyatakan layak dengan persentase 80% oleh ahli Desain, 83,3% oleh ahli Isi dan 79,6% uji coba kelayakan oleh Mahasiswa.

ABSTRACT

                This research was conducted in South Tada Village, South Tinombo Subdistrict, Parigi Moutong District during the end of October until completed. This objective of this research was to know how the structure, the composition and the significance of mangrove community as the source of Biology learning in South Tada Village, South Tinombo Subdistrict, Parigi Moutong District. The method of the research to be used was survey and the method of data collection was square. The research area was divided into 10 belt transect. Based on the result of the study, the structure on seedling, sapling, and trees are dominated by species of Rhizophora mucronata. The composition of Mangrove plants in sapling and tree level are found 6 species. There areAvicennia alba, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza,while at the seedling is only found 5 species of mangrove excluding species Xylocarpus granatum.The validation result of learning source have the shape of  practical guide is confirmed to be proper in the percentage of 80% by the expert of design, 83,3% by the expert of content, and 79,6% by theappropriateness test of students.
