Analisis Kepadatan Diadema setosum di Area Terumbu Karang Kawasan Pusentasi Kabupaten Donggala dan Pengembangannya Sebagai Media Pembelajaran

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tingkat  kepadatan Diadema setosum di Area Terumbu Karang  Kawasan Pusentasi Kabupaten Donggala dan pengembangannya sebagai media pembelajaran dalam bentuk poster. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sampel Diadema setosum dihitung tingkat kepadatannya dengan  menggunakan metode transek kuadrat dengan cara jelajah yang diletakkan tegak lurus terhadap garis pantai sepanjang 50 m dan untuk menghitung persentase tutupan terumbu karang hidup digunakan metode Line Intecept Transect (LIT) yang sejalan dengan perhitungan tingkat Kepadatan Diadema setosum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada stasiun I (Daerah Teluk) diperoleh nilai total tingkat kepadatan  Diadema setosum  yaitu 59,6 ind/m² dengan kategori sedang, dan untuk nilai rata-rata  persentase tutupan terumbu karang hidup yaitu 10,52% (kondisi sangat rendah). Pada Stasiun II ( Daerah Tanjung) diperoleh nilai rata-rata tingkat kepadatan Diadema setosum 95,4 ind/m² dengan kategori cukup tinggi, dan nilai rata-rata persentase tutupan terumbu karang hidup yaitu 11,52 % dengan kategori kondisi sangat  rendah. Hasil penelitian dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar berupa poster setelah melalui validasi oleh tim ahli dan 30 mahasiswa penguji didapatkan nilai rata-rata persentasi 80,06% atau dikategorikan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

ABSTRACT

                    The purpose of this study was to describe the level of density of Diadema setosum in the Reef area Donggala Pusentasi Region and its development as a medium of learning in the form of posters. The method in this research is descriptive method. Diadema setosum sample density level calculated using transect method squared with the way roaming positioned perpendicular to the coastline along the 50 m and to calculate the percentage of live coral reefs cover used method Intecept Line Transect (LIT) which is consistent with the calculation of density levels Diadema setosum. The results showed that In the station I earned a total value of Diadema setosum density at station I of 59.6 ind / m² which is referred to in the moderate category and for the average value of living coral reef cover percentage is 10.52% which is referred to in shape low whereas at station II obtained value Diadema setosum average density of 95.4 ind / m² which is referred to in the category is quite high and to the average value of living coral reef cover percentage is 11.52% referred to in a very low condition and results of research obtained be used as a learning resource in the form of posters after going through the validation by a team of experts and 30 students testers obtained the value of the average percentage of 80.06% or categorized as feasible to be used as a learning resource.
