PUPUK KANDANG AYAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI UBI JALAR (Ipomoea batatasL.)

Abstract


ABSTRAK

 

             Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan adanya pengaruh kombinasi pemberian sekam padi dan pupuk kandang ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatasL.)dan untuk membuktikan seberapa besar interaksi antara sekam padi dan pupuk kandang ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi ubi jalar(Ipomoea batatasL.). Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode Eksperimen.Lokasi penelitian di Desa Oloboju, Kec. Biromaru Kab. Sigipada bulan Oktober sampai Desember 2015. Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan (3x3). Faktor pertama 3 taraf percobaan dosis Sekam Padi (S) S0 = Dosis 10,5 kg, S1 = Dosis 12,6 kg, S2 = Dosis 8,4kg. Faktor kedua 3 taraf percobaan dosis Pupuk Kandang Ayam PK0 = Dosis 21kg, PK1 = Dosis 23,1kg, PK2 = Dosis 18,9 kg  masing-masing 3kali  ulangan. Variabel pengamatan terdiri dari Jumlah Daun, Jumlah Bunga, Jumlah Umbi, Bobot Berat Umbi, Lingkar Umbi Sedang 16-20 cm dan Kadar Air Umbi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (a). dosis Sekam Padi 10,5kgdan dosis Pupuk Kandang Ayam 21 kg (S0PK0)berpengaruh meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksiubi jalar, tidak terjadi interaksi antara Sekam Padi 10,5kgdan Pupuk Kandang Ayam21 kg (S0PK0) terhadap parameter Jumlah Daun, Jumlah Bunga, Jumlah Umbi, Bobot Berat Umbi, Lingkar Umbi Sedang 16-20 cm dan Kadar Air Umbi.

A Study has been carried out to prove an effect of rice bran combined with chicken manure on growth and production of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) and to establish how much interaction of the bran combined with the manure on growth and production of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.). The study was conducted at Oloboju Village, Biromaru Subdistrict, Sigi District from October to Desember 2015. A randomised block experimental design (3x3) was applied with 3 replicates for both the factors. The first factor consisted of S0 = 10.5 kg bran doses, S1 = 12.6 kg bran doses, S2 = 8.4 kg bran doses and the second factor served as PK0 = 21 kg manure doses, PK1 = 23.1 kg manure doses, PK2 = 18,9 kg manure doses. Variable observation Comprised of  the number of leave, flowers and tuber water contents. Results of  the study showed that 10.5 kg bran and 21 kg manure doses (S0PK0) influenced to a increase of sweet potato growth and production. However, these did not affect an interaction of  the bran and the fertilizer on the number of leave, flowers and tubers, tuber weight, tuber circumference sized 16-20 cm and tuber water contents.
